Curriculum

The core curriculum will consist of 48 credits over 4 years, including 3 credits of internship, which will culminate in the completion of a Certificate in Pastoral Ministry program.  Courses will consist of both 2 credit and 1 credit courses (1 credit courses in practical theology and ministry skills).  The curriculum will include the following 4 main areas of concentration:

 

  • Biblical Studies – 16 credits

  • Theological Studies – 17 credits

  • Practical Ministry Studies  – 12 credits

  • Pastoral Internship – 3 credits

TH-1 The Doctrine of God, Angels, Man & Sin – 2 cr.
TH-2 How God Gave Us His Word: Inspiration, Inerrancy, Canonicity, Preservation, Translation – 2 credits
TH-3 The Doctrine of Jesus Christ & Salvation – 2 credits
TH-4 The Doctrine of the Holy Spirit & Spiritual Gifts – 2 credits TH-5 The Doctrine of the Church: Its Biblical Baptist Distinctives – 2 credits 
TH-6 God’s Plan Through the Ages: Dispensational Foundations – 2 credits
TH-7 The Doctrine of End Times: Our Lord’s Return & Future Kingdom Reign – 2 credits
